Pete’s Art

Pete’s artistic life unfolded in phases. His initial work was on two-dimensional surfaces until, at graduate school, he began making large installations of recycled materials (mostly wood) that visitors moved through. When he got to Boston, where installation space was rare, he began to explore clay at the Harvard Ceramics Studio. There he found a welcoming community that nurtured the ceramicist he became.
